The Art and Science of Branding
While brand equity is an intangible asset, it is the single largest component of your market capitalization. Brand equity is the added value that a brand brings to a product or service beyond the functional benefits provided by the product itself. Consumers love brands because they offer an extra value—that is, one in addition to the core product or service.
This presentation is devoted to how branding—when properly planned, developed, and implemented—can contribute to a sustainable competitive advantage and customer retention.
Justin Garder is managing director for BLDG, a health-focused relationship-marketing agency, where he leads brand development. Justin brings with him a passion and excitement about the evolving world of marketing. His ability to help leading companies connect the dots of marketing and analyze consumer behavior to provide faster and more granular insights that produce measurable results represents a refreshing approach to marketing. Combining such rich behavioral data with attitudinal and media overlays will allow healthcare companies to build brands that are both personal and relevant.
Justin’s previous position was leading consumer marketing for Shire Regenerative Medicine.
Prior to joining Shire, Justin consulted for multiple Fortune 500 healthcare companies at Tier 1 Healthcare. Before Tier 1, Justin worked in the strategic communications department of Johnson & Johnson.
