Sayed Ali is the president and owner of Interpreters Unlimited. He is an entrepreneur with broad-based expertise in operations, finance, and business development. Sayed founded two companies, the first of which is a brand that culminated in a 52-unit, multiple-state franchise chain in the quick-food industry. In addition to being the founder, he was chairman of the board of the second venture, a publicly traded, nationwide company with 3,000 employees. The company designs and operates national and international brands at airports and ultimately became the second largest airport concession company, with presence in 42 airports and $180 million in revenue. Sayed has raised various forms of capital, such as public/private/mezzanine, and has finalized a number of mergers and acquisitions. He transitioned the company from private to publicly traded on the NASDAQ stock market, and then to private (private-public-private). His prior experience includes senior management positions in the telecommunications industry, with responsibility for multi-million dollar budgets.
