Growth Engine—Strategic Planning for LSPs
This session will present a strategic planning framework for LSPs. Many small to medium-size businesses operate in a reactive, tactical mode. This session will show LSPs how to make the transition into the modality of running their business in a strategic, proactive manner. The session will guide participants through the process of creating useful key performance indicators (KPIs) and demonstrate how effective strategic planning is key to growing their businesses.
Steve Chu has more than 20 years of diversified management experience in general management, sales, marketing, and operations. After spending more than a decade in the translation industry managing Asia operations, U.S. operations, technology, product development, and marketing, Steve saw an unfilled demand in the translation and localization industry for management and technology consulting services.
He founded Treehouse Strategy in 2010 with the specific goal of meeting that demand by providing strategic planning, management consulting, and technology advisory services to translation and localization companies. Through Treehouse Strategy, Steve and his associate and partners have helped translation companies develop their sales strategies and operations plans as well as implement business and technology solutions.
Steve received his B.A. from Columbia University and his M.A. in communication from Iowa State University.
